Thanks for posting. Based on your posts, it seems that you are frustrated and angry. That is understandable. This situation is very stressful. Relax.
I will give you a sincere and useful suggestion, that hopefully will be valid to others as well. Please refrain from pulling the race card on people talking about immigration. That makes you look emotional, character assassin and worse, that can make people perceive you as a racist yourself. That is the failed tactics used by illegal aliens and uneducated people when confronted with the reality that their attitude and posture is irrational. As far as I can tell, NumbersUSA objects against Irish people who came here illegally. Therefore I do not see any correlation between racial profiling there as you seem to persist. I am not here to defend NumbersUSA or Lou Dobbs. I am just here to remind you that if we continue following the rationale "us vs them" and doing character assassination, we will undeniably face rough opposition and struggle to get what we deserve.

Do you not realize that the companies in USA knows a different in good US school and Bad one - So in nutshell the people from bad school wont get job? Do you know that there is nature's rule - Fittest Survival... So in case you are fit enough and qualified enough to get a job then you will get one, it does not matter if you are from good or bad school....

hope that means they are willing to talk about giving EAD. If we get EAD all the lawsuits will be withdrawn. The law does not say AOS applications should not be accepted when there are no visa numbers available, the law only says AOS cannot be approved when visa numbers are not available. USCIS internal regulations says they will not accept AOS applications when priority date is not current. by now its quite apparent that USCIS has broken a lot of there own internal regulations just to make sure the visa numbers are used up before july 2 2007. If I am lucky enough I can make upto 70-80years of my age maximum, considering my age now, I might live another 30-35yrs. Just imagine what life we want, I completely agree what points you mentioned below. But you are forgetting the insidents we read in news media every day. I almost find atleast one incident where people are killed just for money........what if our fate is not good, and we encounter such situation???

Each IO has given me different info on different calls. Whatever they say about visa number cannot be considered true. Just say ok and move on or call back to get a different answer.

Hi,
I did my landing last weekend. It went smoothly. At the port of entry ( at Niagra falls) Immigration officer said that my pictures that they have will not work and they took new pictures right there. The immigration offices also explained that if i am going back to US and then entering Canada again by land , all i need to show are the landing paper that he attached with my passport. If we plan to travel by air then it might cause some issues and its better to have the card. The thing that he made clear to me is that i do not need PR card to enter Canada again by land.

Yes, that helps a lot, thanks for the info. I am leaning towards abandoning the card for now; don't think I should risk a trip to Canada again if other options are available such as traveling by car. Plus if I understand it correctly I can get a travel document from the Canadian embassy too for air travel.

The person I talked to said that it's true that to enter by land, you don't need a PR card; however, you will need at least one photo ID issued by a Canadian govt agency such as a drivers license. The landing document alone won't be sufficient as it doesn't have a photograph. She advised that a travel document should be issued easily enough, as long as I've maintained the residency requirements.

However, please understand, we are asking for "fair" and "equitable" treatment for those who are already inside the country and devoted sufficient time of their life here. To me this means "justice." I can very well relate to your desperation and anger, but please don't react emotionally. The legal or technical fact remains that no-one guranteed us GC and truth of the matter is most of us said "No" when immigration officer asked " do you have plans to settle in State?" So their is no question of equitable treatment.

I think, this argument is wrong! Legally, any descrimination based on national origin is not valid.
Even if congress passes a law, it can be challenged in court - and court can declare the law as unconstitutional based on the basic rights allowed in the constitution. If we can prove that a law is against the constitution, court can declare it as invalid.

If we can prove in a court that this is discrimination , that day onwards, country quota will become invalid. Congress has to alter the law then.
I dont believe in flower/food/sos campaigns to resolve this problem...just because it worked once before doesnt mean it is going to work again..have we pursued a class action lawsuit against Department of State/Labor/USCIS for unlawful discrimination based on the country of birth in Employment Based Visas. Any idea if IV core ever took up this path? Can we attempt to do this? What are the costs involved and can we get some good lawyer representation to this goal?

One of my friend got "Card Production Ordered" email. He is EB2-I, PD Jan 2006, RD- Sep 30 2007, NSC.
Mine is Dec 2005 and still waiting. So what is going on with NSC? Are they also doing the same thing that TSC is doing? latest cases first?

Today, I received the approval notice in mail. However I did not get the physical cards. The notice says that I may have to do the biometrics again to get the but need not take any action at this time.

Before accepting an Employement with company X, if there would have been an agreement stating they will sponsor my green card (atleast the paperwork), that would have helped me.. hard luck..

United states postal service. My lawyer sent it on june 29 and to this day it's a mestry to me how it was delivered at 10:10 pm at night. I did not think anybody would accept it. BUt if they were working on 25000 in 48 hours. The only reason i think they took it is to finish the number of visa available.
