Wear a formal. Not that that's what they require, but just as a formality. However, be prepared to wait for 2-3 hrs in the queue.
Is it mandatory to wear business formal? I am going to get visa stamping with my wife, she is applying for H4.

The statistics they have provided might be correct but useless for any PD date information. Applications include all kinds of 485s, AP, EAD and renewals.
If USCIS really wanted to provide statistics they should have provided how many EB based 485s they have (further dividing them by PD year and country), and same thing for family based. Clubbing these two together is stupid.

company A applied for my GC. They cant provide me jobs.
I am working with company B as a contractor (corp to corp with company A and B).. project will finish in a month. already did not work for 12 months even though my I-485 is pending with company A.
now company B offered me to work perm with them by using EAD. while my H1b renewal is pending with company A.
can I work with B while A is still my sponsoring company.
my Q is once h1b approves lets say in a month and renewal for 1 year( can I work with B with EAD for like another 6-8 months and then go out and reenter for H1b with A?

I mean i filed without both of those. Theyare required in the 140 phase , not in 485.
But keep them handy - in case they wants mail by next day air

Got medical RFE at 485 stage.Here are RFE details :
The civil surgeon's signature on the supplement Form to I-693 submmitted with your application to adjust status is photocopy and is therefore unacceptable.Your original Supplement Form to I-693 is hereby returned to you in the enclosed sealed envelope.Take this letter and your enlclosed Supplemental Form I-693 to the civil surgeon who administered your vaccinations.ONLY THE CIVIL SURGEON SHOULD OPEN THE SEALED ENVELOPE.The civil surgeon must verify that he or she completed the Supplemental Form to I-693 and place it in a sealed envelope before returning it to you.

Given the demographics of the greater Seattle area in general, and Redmond in particular - I'm surprised "softies" haven't taken over the WA chapter completely... :)

My wife and me have joined the yahoogroups for WA chapter, We are going for the rally, how can we encourage more friends in WA state to go? I know there are people willing to sponsor, provide part of funds, help with accommodation and so on and if anyone in WA has any of these limitations, people are willing to coordinate. How do we get the point across to all Washingtonian GC sufferers or people who just filed for 485 and don't see the bleak tomorrow. How do we wake them up all up? We have so many employers here, is there something we can do to wake them up from the slumber and mirage of filing 485? I must admit, I was sleeping too until yesterday when we booked our tickets.
