I-140 - approved 03/05
I-485 - RD - 08/07, ND - 10/03
CP ordered - 08/08
(one year and one day since we applied for AOS)
I got an email today from USCIS stating this
Current Status: Card production ordered.
I did not receive any other approval notice. I hope this means that our 485 is approved and the cards have been ordered ?

In continuation of the post from Nenneo, I had the chance to see Newt Gingrich, ex-speaker of the house and who is currently testing the waters for a possible 2008 Pres. nomination from the GOP. His response, I think, speaks volumes about the type of people the GOP would like to see here.
He indicated that he is totally against illegal immigration and pro legal immigration. But, when it came to students who were pursuing higher education in the US, according to Newt, "is a no-brainer, we get them here, we train and teach them, it does not make sense to let them go. These students should be given a visa as soon as they find a job, as long as they have not committed any felony and especially since the students have been in the US for 2+years it is sufficient time to get to know them and their backgrounds and for them to be assimilated in the US way of life."
My 2-cents to clarify the thinking behind giving more preference to US educated students vs non-US educated ones. This coming from a senior GOP leader.

First, I couldn't believe what you posted..Here we are worried about PD, Receipt Dates etc and then there is your situation...I am extremely sorry and sad to hear about your illness. I don't even know what to write....I feel so helpless..I guess we all are helpless here..God bless..

I will have to check with my attorney. But, my I-140 approval came from TSC but my I-485 application was sent to NSC.
If anyone else has had a similar experience, please post your update here.

Per my attorney - If the I140 approval came from TSC, you can send your AOS to TSC directly. Hope this helps.

I received a confirmation from the Ombudsman's office that they have received my case documents and would let me know when it get's assigned to an immigration specialist.
I have not heard back from them yet... 3 weeks and counting... How long does it take them to followup on the case?

Instructions on how to import all the contacts into yahoo address book.
1. Download the file and save it to desktop.
2. Click the options on the left when you logon to yahoo mail.
3. Then click the address book to the right.
4. Under management, click Import/Export.
5. Select the yahoo .csv option. Browse to the file and press the import button.
6. All the addresses should be under your contacts now.
Can some one post all the email addresses in one place or at least tell me how to do . i am ready to do that

My 140 was pending in TSC since early feb. It got approved on Aug 3rd. My 485 app was receipted on the same date from TSC. So, app was transferred from NSC-> TSC (filed in NSC on June 25th).
So, folks, hold on - you will get receipted soon.

As an employee, Except for the 485 filing, you are not supposed to pay for anything for the GC. The company that sponsers you pays for all that.
It is illigal for an employee to pay for the GC process.
I am not sure what you are trying to get. Are you going to write a letter to USCIS that you commited an illigal act? And you want to involve bunch of people along with you?
